Digitize priceless manuscripts

Jewish gift to the Vatican Library and the Franciscan Custody in Israel

PTWF was instrumental in"paving the way" for the digitizing of priceless manuscripts from the Vatican Library and from the Franciscan Custody in Israel. This wonderful gift for archiving and worldwide education was made through a Jewish Foundation.

This gift was made through the generosity of the George S. Blumenthal Foundation. State of the art techniques in digital  photography by famed Israeli photographer Ardon Bar-Hama were made possible through this wonderful gift of technology towards education.

Bodmer Papyrus

 Pave the way foundation has been working with Reverend Richard Donahoe, Rector of the Cathedral of St. Paul in Birmingham Alabama.  Father Donahoe was able to identify the availability of the Bodmer Papyrus. The Bodmer Papyrus is the oldest written version of the Gospels of St. John and St. Luke and contains the oldest written version of the Lord's Prayer which was written sometime between 175 and 225 AD.

Pave the Way Foundation honors and recognized the religious reconciliation of Saint Pope John Paul II


 January 2005, PTWF organized the largest Jewish audience in history to meet privately with Pope John Paul II, to thank him for his great strides in religious reconciliation.
