Our Mission
Pave the Way Foundation was founded in 2002 to
Initiate cultural, educational, and technological exchanges between religions, facilitating gestures of goodwill
We identify non-theological obstacles in the diplomatic and political arena, unraveling and eliminating the barriers of disinformation that serve to stoke distrust between religions. Working quietly behind the scenes, we talk to people who will not talk to each other, consequently, PTWF is the most effective organization in the world “that no one has ever heard of”.
Embrace the Similarities Savor the Differences
Our motto is simple. We embody the messages of charity, love, and responsibility for every human being, common to all faiths and beliefs. We embrace our similarities and savor our differences, by appreciating the positive and practical expression of the World’s diverse religions and beliefs. We must not allow the differences to poison us, with bigotry, hatred, and intolerance. Instead, we learn, enhance our own beliefs, and initiate trusted and positive exchanges.
“When we look at differences instead of similarities, we create barriers for trust”
Pave the Way Foundation was co-founded by Meredith and Gary Krupp in 2002. Gary Krupp is uniquely suited to build bridges between religions. Gary is the only Jewish man in history in 2000 to be knighted by St. Pope John Paul II. In 2007 Gary was raised in rank by Pope Benedict XVI and on June 18, 2018, Pope Francis invested both Gary and Meredith Krupp to the highest rank of Knight and Dame Grand Cross of the Pontifical Equestrian Order of Order of St. Gregory. In Addition, Gary Krupp was invested by permission of Her Majesty Queen Elizabeth II as an Officer Brother in the Anglican Order of St. John of Jerusalem. In 2002, Gary was awarded the Jewish National Fund “Tree of Life Award” along with numerous other interreligious awards. Being a trusted member of the Papal household has enabled him to act as a catalyst in initiating exchanges and eliminating obstacles to positive relations between the Abrahamic faiths.
